Reflections & Collections for Fall!

Reflections....

On April 14, 2014 the world of JLynn Jewelry changed forever.  Being featured on PeopleStylewatch.com's "I Really Love My..." page catapulted my jewelry line into a completely different space.  This increased exposure has been exciting but also turned my "hobby" business into a "real" business.  No complaints, it's been rewarding on so many levels.  

Of course, this would not have happened if it were not for Shailene Woodley wearing her November Birthstone necklace.  To her, I am grateful.  Not just because she wears one of my pieces but because I feel Shailene is a positive role model for young women.  Be kind.  Be confident.  Be courageous.    

My daughter, Caitlyn, is turning 5 on November 16th and starting her first year in Kindergarten next month.  "Big Kid School" will bring many new experiences for her in the years to come.  I hope she never loses sight of who she is and is always kind, confident and courageous.

The summer is coming to a close; our children are gearing up for back to school and we are getting ready for chilly, cozy nights and Fall colors.   Here are some new pieces I just added to the website:

 The Maili Necklace is an adjustable 24" long 14k gold fill fancy medium weight chain with a sparkly druzy stone bezel set in gold plated silver.  Druzy stone measures approximately 3/4" long.  $92

For those who love the Birthstone Circle Collection but want something more neutral, the Silver Pyrite Circle is a perfect necklace.  Silver plated pyrite hand-wrapped around either a 14k gold fill or sterling silver circle.  Necklace is adjustable 16-18".  $86

The Amanda Necklace features a free form sliced gemstone bezel set in gold plated silver and hangs from a 14k gold fill chain, adjustable 16-18".  Available in Clear Quartz, Chrysoprase, Black Garnet and Labradorite.  More stone options coming soon... $64

I have some exciting news to share with everyone!  

JLynn Jewelry has officially hit the Red Carpet!  

A couple of weeks ago I received a call from one of the stores that carries my line, Gum Tree in Hermosa Beach.  A customer of theirs bought a November Birthstone Circle necklace for their friend but it broke and they wanted a replacement.  She mentioned there was an urgency because her friend is "kind of famous" and wanted to wear the necklace to some upcoming events.  

We soon learned the "famous friend" is Shailene Woodley, star of the movie Divergent and upcoming film, The Fault in Our Stars.  She's been all over the place promoting Divergent and has been wearing her JLynn Birthstone necklace almost every day!
